Description
A custom commissioned leather overbust corset, made for a dear friend. The base "background" layer is 8-ounce tooled & molded veg-tan leather with another layer of 8-ounce leather filigree stitched over it. The filigree was cut from larger pieces of leather using an x-acto knife, and lots of time. Brass-plated nickel rivets and artificial sinew stitches hold everything together- no glue was used anywhere.
The colors are water-based leather dye, antiquing paste, and acrylic paint.
